Educational programs
The “Horizon” Association implements educational programs in Kindergartens, Primary Schools, Middle Schools and High Schools with the aim of raising awareness among Primary and Secondary Education students for the acquisition of values, knowledge and skills that will help them in adopting attitudes for the defense and promotion of their mental, physical and social health, for the acceptance of diversity and the equal rights of all as well as volunteering.
Specifically, the Training Programs implemented are the following:
Definition: “Offering with Love!”
Interactive presentation of aspects of volunteering. Raising awareness of tomorrow’s responsible citizens, who will respond to the needs of the world around them, focusing on the work of “Horizon”.

Interactive program aimed at raising students’ awareness of issues related to volunteering.
(for Secondary Education students)
“Sports & Volunteering”
Introduction to the work of “Horizon”, the organization of sports activities and the participation of its volunteers in sports events, with its colors promoting the message: “FIGHT FOR LIFE”.

“All together a Hug”: Creative Workshop
The imagination and joy of creating visual works by students meets volunteering.

“Solidarity Creations”: Creative Workshop & School Bazaar
Creation of visual works by students to strengthen volunteering at the School Bazaar.

“Eutychis travels”
Training program approved by the MINISTRY. It seeks to connect the school with society and the personal empowerment of students. It aims at acquainting them with life events, helping them develop resistance mechanisms to the difficulties they may encounter, while discovering optimism, solidarity and selfless giving. It is based on the fairy tale “O Eutychis and the Rainbow” by the author Evdokias Skordalas – Kakatsakis.

The programs are implemented by Mrs. Christina Tzompanaki – teacher, Mrs. Argyro Drakaki – social worker, Mrs. Fani Giannari – graduate teacher and Mrs. Chrysoula Kazakou – Professor of Foreign Languages . The participation of school units is optional and free for students.
